Production Notes
The grapes are handpicked from sustainably farmed vineyards and carefully sorted before vinification. Fermentation occurs in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to preserve vibrant fruit aromas, followed by gentle maceration to extract colour and tannins. The wine matures for several months in a combination of stainless steel and neutral oak vats to develop texture and integration before bottling.
Tasting Notes
Deep ruby red in colour, the wine opens with aromas of ripe blackberries, cherries, and plums, supported by subtle notes of spice, vanilla, and dried herbs. The palate is smooth and generous, displaying layers of dark fruit, cocoa, and hints of licorice balanced by polished tannins and a touch of minerality. The finish is long, warm, and satisfying, showcasing the harmony typical of Alentejo reds.

We offer free next-day delivery on all UK Mainland orders over £150. For orders under £150, a delivery fee of £10 applies. We also deliver to Northern Ireland, the Highlands, Scottish Isles, and the Scilly Isles for £12, and to the Isle of Man for £20. Orders are dispatched Wednesday to Friday, with cheese orders specifically dispatched on Wednesday and Thursday.
Yes, we offer a Click & Collect service. Orders will be ready for collection one hour after placing the order. You can collect from our shop in Bromley Cross, Bolton, Wednesday to Sunday during our opening hours (Finchley Wines).
You can return items within 30 days of purchase if they are unused and in the same condition as received, including original packaging. However, certain items like perishable goods and gift cards are non-returnable. Refunds will be processed once the returned item is inspected and approved.
