Château de Terrefort Lescalle Bordeaux 2023 is a generous, approachable red wine produced by the historic Château Lescalle estate in Macau, near the prestigious Margaux appellation. Sourced from seven hectares of vines planted on alluvial sandy-clay soils beside the Garonne, this Merlot-dominant blend offers ripe fruit, roundness and suppleness, while Cabernet Sauvignon contributes structure and finesse. Crafted for early enjoyment, it delivers expressive fruit, refined tannins and the harmonious character of classic Bordeaux.

Deep red in colour with garnet highlights, this wine reveals expressive aromas of ripe plum, red berries and cassis, complemented by subtle spice, graphite, dried herbs and undergrowth. The palate is smooth and fruit-driven, developing an elegant, balanced structure with fine tannins and a harmonious, lingering finish.
Production Notes
Mechanically harvested grapes are carefully sorted and fully destemmed before fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless-steel and concrete tanks at approximately 28°C. Two daily pump-overs enhance extraction, followed by one to three rackings according to tasting. The wine is clarified using egg white and matured for 12 months in stainless-steel tanks to preserve its fresh fruit character.

We offer free next-day delivery on all UK Mainland orders over £150. For orders under £150, a delivery fee of £10 applies. We also deliver to Northern Ireland, the Highlands, Scottish Isles, and the Scilly Isles for £12, and to the Isle of Man for £20. Orders are dispatched Wednesday to Friday, with cheese orders specifically dispatched on Wednesday and Thursday.
