Château La Fleur Cravignac 2019 is a full-flavoured Saint-Émilion Grand Cru produced from a classic Merlot-led Bordeaux blend. The estate’s mature vines grow across clay-limestone, sandy and iron-rich soils, giving the wine ripe fruit, structure and complexity. Merlot provides roundness and generosity, while Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon contribute freshness, aromatic definition and a firm supporting framework.
Tasting Notes
Deep ruby-purple in colour with an expressive bouquet of ripe red fruit, blueberries and plums, complemented by roasted chestnut, spice and oak. The palate is powerful yet balanced, combining concentrated fruit with finely integrated wood, supple tannins and harmonious acidity. The finish is confident and persistent.
Production Notes
The estate blend comprises approximately 80% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon from vines averaging around 45 years of age. Grapes are harvested by hand and fermented in concrete and stainless-steel tanks. Maturation uses a combination of new oak barrels, previously used barrels and other ageing vessels to integrate the wine’s fruit and structure.
Food Pairing
Pair with roast beef, lamb, duck, venison, steak, slow-cooked casseroles, mushroom dishes or mature cheeses. Decanting for approximately one hour before serving will help reveal its fruit and complexity. Serve at around 16–18°C.

We offer free next-day delivery on all UK Mainland orders over £150. For orders under £150, a delivery fee of £10 applies. We also deliver to Northern Ireland, the Highlands, Scottish Isles, and the Scilly Isles for £12, and to the Isle of Man for £20. Orders are dispatched Wednesday to Friday, with cheese orders specifically dispatched on Wednesday and Thursday.
