Sagres Cerveja Beer – 24 × 330ml Bottles
£44.00
Sagres Original is a classic Portuguese pilsner-style lager that has accompanied everyday life and celebrations across Portugal since 1940. Named after Sagres on the Algarve coast, a place closely linked with Portuguese maritime history, the beer is instantly familiar in its amber bottle with the bold red-and-white shield. It delivers the hallmarks of a well-made continental lager: golden colour, lively freshness, delicate malt and a pleasingly dry finish. Crisp and reassuringly straightforward, Sagres is especially suited to simple seafood dishes, outdoor meals and the convivial atmosphere of a Portuguese cafe.

Tasting Notes
Clear gold with an airy white head and bright, persistent carbonation. Subtle aromas of grain, pale malt and light herbal hops open onto a lean, crisp palate. Gentle malt character meets a touch of bitterness, ending clean, dry and highly refreshing.
Production Notes
Traditionally made as a pilsner-style lager from water, malt, unmalted cereals and carefully selected hops. The brewery describes it as light-bodied, clean and slightly bitter. Controlled lager fermentation and maturation help deliver a consistent golden beer.
Food Pairing
A great choice with grilled sardines, bacalhau, piri-piri chicken, clams, prawns, salted cod fritters, bifanas, fried potatoes and simple tapas. Serve well chilled.

The History of Finchley Wines
Finchley Wine — A Neighbourhood Wine Venture with Heart
Born from the passion of two wine enthusiasts, Finchley Wine is more than just a bottle shop. It is the result of five years of dreaming, planning, and sourcing with purpose. Our founders left their careers to create something that would bring people together, support sustainability, and celebrate the beauty of honest winemaking.
Every detail of Finchley Wine reflects that vision. The space is thoughtfully designed with an organic, natural aesthetic and shelves filled with handpicked bottles from producers who care for their land as much as their craft. We call it wine design, a blend of taste, community, and creativity that turns every visit into an experience.
At Finchley Wine, you will find not only distinctive wines but also a welcoming space built on connection, sustainability, and local spirit.
