Estrella Damm Barcelona Lager Beer – 24 × 330ml Bottles

Price

£42.00

Estrella Damm is a landmark Barcelona lager with roots stretching back to 1876, when August Kuentzmann Damm established his Mediterranean brewing tradition. Its vivid red label and striking gold star have become familiar symbols of Catalan beer culture. Brewed to a long-standing recipe inspired by the Mediterranean climate and ingredients, this pale lager balances gentle malt sweetness with subtle cereal character and a pleasing crispness. It is bright, lively and distinctly food-friendly, offering a little more body than the lightest session lagers while remaining clean and refreshing from first sip to last.

Tasting Notes

Brilliant pale gold with fine bubbles and an attractive white head. The aroma combines sweet cereal, fresh bread and delicate grassy hops. A smooth, lightly rounded palate offers soft malt and a hint of toast, finishing crisp with measured bitterness.

Production Notes

Damm states that Estrella Damm follows a recipe dating from 1876 and uses water, barley malt, rice and hops, with no added preservatives or sulphites. Careful lager fermentation and maturation help deliver its clear colour and balanced character.

Food Pairing

A beautiful match for patatas bravas, seafood paella, grilled sardines, calamari, tapas, croquetas, cured ham, manchego, roasted chicken and pizza. Serve chilled with Mediterranean-style meals.

The History of Finchley  Wines

Finchley Wine — A Neighbourhood Wine Venture with Heart

Born from the passion of two wine enthusiasts, Finchley Wine is more than just a bottle shop. It is the result of five years of dreaming, planning, and sourcing with purpose. Our founders left their careers to create something that would bring people together, support sustainability, and celebrate the beauty of honest winemaking.
Every detail of Finchley Wine reflects that vision. The space is thoughtfully designed with an organic, natural aesthetic and shelves filled with handpicked bottles from producers who care for their land as much as their craft. We call it wine design, a blend of taste, community, and creativity that turns every visit into an experience.
At Finchley Wine, you will find not only distinctive wines but also a welcoming space built on connection, sustainability, and local spirit.
