Château Talmont Bordeaux Rouge 2022 is a generous, approachable Bordeaux blend produced by the Mourgues family in the Entre-Deux-Mers region. Merlot provides ripe fruit, softness and volume, while Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc contribute structure, freshness and aromatic complexity. The warm 2022 vintage produced an expressive wine with concentrated red and dark-fruit flavours, polished tannins and subtle spice. It is already enjoyable but may also be kept for several years. The Guide Hachette des Vins awarded this vintage one star, describing it as very successful, balanced and representative of both the vintage and appellation.

Production Notes
Selected grapes are fermented in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks to preserve their fruit character. A portion of the wine is matured in oak for at least six months, adding gentle structure and complexity without overpowering the fruit. The estate holds Haute Valeur Environnementale certification.
Tasting Notes
Ripe aromas of raspberry, cherry, blackberry and blueberry are complemented by gentle spice. The palate is generous and rounded, with concentrated fruit, balanced volume, supple tannins and a fresh, clean finish.
Food Pairing
Pair with roast beef, grilled steak, lamb, duck, beef stew, charcuterie, mushroom dishes or mature cheeses. Serve at approximately 16–18°C.

We offer free next-day delivery on all UK Mainland orders over £150. For orders under £150, a delivery fee of £10 applies. We also deliver to Northern Ireland, the Highlands, Scottish Isles, and the Scilly Isles for £12, and to the Isle of Man for £20. Orders are dispatched Wednesday to Friday, with cheese orders specifically dispatched on Wednesday and Thursday.
Yes, we offer a Click & Collect service. Orders will be ready for collection one hour after placing the order. You can collect from our shop in Bromley Cross, Bolton, Wednesday to Sunday during our opening hours (Finchley Wines).
You can return items within 30 days of purchase if they are unused and in the same condition as received, including original packaging. However, certain items like perishable goods and gift cards are non-returnable. Refunds will be processed once the returned item is inspected and approved.
