José Zuccardi Malbec is one of the most iconic wines from Zuccardi, created as a tribute to José Alberto Zuccardi, who significantly expanded the family winery’s legacy.
This wine represents power, elegance, and longevity, crafted from some of the best high-altitude vineyards in the Uco Valley.
The 2020 vintage is intense yet refined, with rich fruit, mineral freshness, and structured tannins designed for ageing.

Production Notes
Grapes are hand-picked from vineyards located at 1,100–1,400 metres above sea level in Paraje Altamira and Gualtallary, two of Mendoza’s most prestigious sub-regions. Fermentation takes place in concrete vats with indigenous yeasts, followed by ageing in large, untoasted oak foudres, which provide structure without masking terroir expression.
Tasting Notes
Deep garnet with purple edges. Aromas of blackberries, blueberries, plums, and violets, with notes of graphite, tobacco, and subtle cedar. Full-bodied and powerful, yet elegant. Concentrated dark fruits supported by firm tannins, mineral freshness, and hints of spice and cocoa. Long, persistent, and complex, with layers of fruit, herbs, and earthy minerality.
Food Pairings
Perfect with prime cuts of beef, roasted lamb, venison, game stews, and mature cheeses. Also pairs with rich dishes like osso buco or truffle pasta.

We offer free next-day delivery on all UK Mainland orders over £150. For orders under £150, a delivery fee of £10 applies. We also deliver to Northern Ireland, the Highlands, Scottish Isles, and the Scilly Isles for £12, and to the Isle of Man for £20. Orders are dispatched Wednesday to Friday, with cheese orders specifically dispatched on Wednesday and Thursday.
Yes, we offer a Click & Collect service. Orders will be ready for collection one hour after placing the order. You can collect from our shop in Bromley Cross, Bolton, Wednesday to Sunday during our opening hours (Turton Wines).
You can return items within 30 days of purchase if they are unused and in the same condition as received, including original packaging. However, certain items like perishable goods and gift cards are non-returnable. Refunds will be processed once the returned item is inspected and approved.
