Woodlands Wilyabrup Valley Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot 2020 is a benchmark Margaret River Bordeaux-style blend from one of the region’s founding wineries.
The Wilyabrup subregion is famed for its gravelly soils and maritime climate, producing wines of elegance, structure, and longevity. The 2020 vintage, shaped by a warm yet balanced season, offers ripe dark fruit intensity alongside refined tannins and freshness.
This cuvée showcases Margaret River’s world-class reputation for Cabernet-based blends, balancing power with finesse.

Production Notes
Estate-grown fruit from old vineyards in Wilyabrup. Hand-picked and fermented in small stainless steel and open fermenters. Matured for 18 months in French oak barrels (around 30–40% new) to integrate tannins and add complexity.
Tasting Notes
Deep garnet red. Aromas of cassis, blackberry, and plum, with notes of cedar, tobacco, and dried herbs. The palate is full-bodied and structured, showing concentrated dark fruits, fine-grained tannins, savoury spice, and a long, elegant finish.
Food Pairings
Pairs beautifully with roast lamb, beef, venison, and hard cheeses such as aged Cheddar or Comté. Decant when young to open up aromatics.

We offer free next-day delivery on all UK Mainland orders over £150. For orders under £150, a delivery fee of £10 applies. We also deliver to Northern Ireland, the Highlands, Scottish Isles, and the Scilly Isles for £12, and to the Isle of Man for £20. Orders are dispatched Wednesday to Friday, with cheese orders specifically dispatched on Wednesday and Thursday.
Yes, we offer a Click & Collect service. Orders will be ready for collection one hour after placing the order. You can collect from our shop in Bromley Cross, Bolton, Wednesday to Sunday during our opening hours (Turton Wines).
You can return items within 30 days of purchase if they are unused and in the same condition as received, including original packaging. However, certain items like perishable goods and gift cards are non-returnable. Refunds will be processed once the returned item is inspected and approved.
