With Merlot at its heart, the wine showcases supple fruit, depth, and structure, while the exceptional 2020 vintage adds ripeness, concentration, and ageing potential.

Production Notes
Vines average 35–40 years old, grown on gravelly and sandy-clay soils. Manual and mechanical harvesting, followed by strict grape sorting. Fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. Aged 12 months in vats with partial oak maturation to add subtle complexity without overshadowing fruit purity.
Tasting Notes
Deep ruby with garnet reflections. Ripe black cherries, plums, and cassis, with hints of spice, cedar, and mocha. Medium to full-bodied, structured yet silky. Rich fruit core (blackberry, plum, cherry) balanced by fine tannins and fresh acidity. Subtle notes of vanilla, spice, and earthy minerality. Long, smooth, and elegant, with lingering fruit and savoury depth.

We offer free next-day delivery on all UK Mainland orders over £150. For orders under £150, a delivery fee of £10 applies. We also deliver to Northern Ireland, the Highlands, Scottish Isles, and the Scilly Isles for £12, and to the Isle of Man for £20. Orders are dispatched Wednesday to Friday, with cheese orders specifically dispatched on Wednesday and Thursday.
Yes, we offer a Click & Collect service. Orders will be ready for collection one hour after placing the order. You can collect from our shop in Bromley Cross, Bolton, Wednesday to Sunday during our opening hours (Turton Wines).
You can return items within 30 days of purchase if they are unused and in the same condition as received, including original packaging. However, certain items like perishable goods and gift cards are non-returnable. Refunds will be processed once the returned item is inspected and approved.
