Fradiles Angraris Mandrolisai Rosso Superiore 2022 is the estate’s prestigious single-vineyard cru, produced from an old, goblet-trained vineyard in the historic Angraris area near Atzara. Situated approximately 550 metres above sea level on the western slopes of the Gennargentu mountains, the vineyard has decomposed granite and sandy soils that help produce an intense, structured and age-worthy Sardinian red. The traditional Mandrolisai varieties combine concentrated forest-fruit character with spice, tobacco, vanilla and mature tannins, resulting in a broad, complex wine with a long, warming finish.

Production Notes
Grapes from the historic Angraris vineyard are harvested during the final ten days of September and co-fermented at controlled temperatures, with approximately 18–20 days of skin maceration. The wine matures for six months in stainless steel, followed by 30–36 months in 750-litre wooden barrels and a further 12 months in bottle before release.
Tasting Notes
Deep ruby red with developing garnet reflections. Rich aromas of forest-fruit preserve, dark cherry and warm spices are complemented by tobacco and vanilla. Full-bodied and concentrated, with mature structured tannins, savoury depth and a long, warm, persistent finish.
Food Pairing
Excellent with roast lamb, venison, wild boar, braised beef, rich meat stews, porcetto arrosto and mature pecorino cheese. Decant before serving at approximately 16–18°C.

We offer free next-day delivery on all UK Mainland orders over £150. For orders under £150, a delivery fee of £10 applies. We also deliver to Northern Ireland, the Highlands, Scottish Isles, and the Scilly Isles for £12, and to the Isle of Man for £20. Orders are dispatched Wednesday to Friday, with cheese orders specifically dispatched on Wednesday and Thursday.
Yes, we offer a Click & Collect service. Orders will be ready for collection one hour after placing the order. You can collect from our shop in Bromley Cross, Bolton, Wednesday to Sunday during our opening hours (Finchley Wines).
