Vachnadziani Saperavi Classical 2020 is a rich and expressive dry red wine made from 100% Saperavi, Georgia's flagship indigenous grape variety. Produced in the renowned Kakheti region, this wine combines centuries-old Georgian winemaking heritage with modern techniques. Deeply coloured and full-bodied, it showcases the bold fruit, freshness and structure that have made Saperavi one of the world's oldest and most distinctive grape varieties.

Production Notes
The grapes are hand-harvested and fermented in stainless steel tanks to preserve fruit purity. A small proportion of the wine is matured in French oak barrels for approximately eight months, adding subtle spice and complexity while maintaining the vibrant character of the Saperavi grape.
Tasting Notes
Intense aromas of wild berries, black cherry and sweet spice lead to a beautifully balanced palate with ripe plum, blackberry, smoky notes and earthy undertones. Fine tannins and fresh acidity give the wine structure, while the finish is smooth, elegant and lingering.
Food Pairings
An excellent match for grilled lamb, beef, venison, barbecued meats, slow-cooked stews, roasted game, mushroom dishes and mature hard cheeses. Its bold fruit and firm structure also pair well with rich Georgian cuisine.

We offer free next-day delivery on all UK Mainland orders over £150. For orders under £150, a delivery fee of £10 applies. We also deliver to Northern Ireland, the Highlands, Scottish Isles, and the Scilly Isles for £12, and to the Isle of Man for £20. Orders are dispatched Wednesday to Friday, with cheese orders specifically dispatched on Wednesday and Thursday.
Yes, we offer a Click & Collect service. Orders will be ready for collection one hour after placing the order. You can collect from our shop in Bromley Cross, Bolton, Wednesday to Sunday during our opening hours (Finchley Wines).
You can return items within 30 days of purchase if they are unused and in the same condition as received, including original packaging. However, certain items like perishable goods and gift cards are non-returnable. Refunds will be processed once the returned item is inspected and approved.
