Tbilvino Qvevris Rkatsiteli 2022 is a traditional Georgian amber wine produced using the ancient Qvevri winemaking method, where the wine ferments and matures in large clay vessels buried underground. Made from the indigenous Rkatsiteli grape, this wine combines the freshness of white wine with the texture and structure often associated with reds. Rich, complex, and deeply characterful, it shows layers of apricot, quince, dried citrus peel, honey, tea leaf, nuts, and subtle spice with a textured palate and long savoury finish. This wine is an excellent introduction to authentic Georgian orange wines.

Production Notes
Produced using the traditional Georgian Qvevri method dating back thousands of years. The Rkatsiteli grapes ferment with extended skin contact for approximately five to six months inside underground clay amphorae, creating the wine’s amber colour, tannic structure, and complex flavour profile.
Tasting Notes
Aromas of white flowers, apricot, pear, quince, jasmine tea, dried herbs, honey, and nuts. The palate is textured and layered with peach, apricot, citrus peel, spice, gentle tannins, lively acidity, and a long savoury finish.
Food Pairings
Excellent with grilled lamb, roasted vegetables, Middle Eastern dishes, aged cheeses, mushroom dishes, barbecue meats, and rich Mediterranean cuisine.

We offer free next-day delivery on all UK Mainland orders over £150. For orders under £150, a delivery fee of £10 applies. We also deliver to Northern Ireland, the Highlands, Scottish Isles, and the Scilly Isles for £12, and to the Isle of Man for £20. Orders are dispatched Wednesday to Friday, with cheese orders specifically dispatched on Wednesday and Thursday.
Yes, we offer a Click & Collect service. Orders will be ready for collection one hour after placing the order. You can collect from our shop in Bromley Cross, Bolton, Wednesday to Sunday during our opening hours (Finchley Wines).
You can return items within 30 days of purchase if they are unused and in the same condition as received, including original packaging. However, certain items like perishable goods and gift cards are non-returnable. Refunds will be processed once the returned item is inspected and approved.
