Serego Alighieri Possessioni Rosso 2018 is a refined and historic Venetian red wine, produced on the ancestral estate of the descendants of the poet Dante Alighieri.
This wine harmoniously combines the elegance of the Valpolicella terroir with Tuscan character, creating a distinctive and aristocratic profile.
Crafted by the Masi family in collaboration with the Serego Alighieri estate, it embodies centuries of viticultural tradition and the expressive potential of Veneto’s indigenous varieties.

Production Notes
The blend of Corvina, Molinara, and Sangiovese grapes is carefully hand-harvested and vinified separately to highlight each varietal’s personality. Following fermentation, the wine is aged in Slavonian oak casks, with a portion matured in traditional cherry wood barrels unique to the Serego Alighieri estate. This process enhances the complexity, smoothness, and subtle spice of the wine while maintaining freshness and structure.
Tasting Notes
Deep ruby red in colour, the wine opens with an inviting bouquet of ripe cherries, redcurrants, and plums, complemented by notes of dried herbs, cocoa, and a touch of sweet spice. The palate is smooth and velvety, offering a balance of juicy red fruit, fine tannins, and gentle acidity. The finish is elegant and lingering, with nuances of cherry wood and vanilla.

Pairs beautifully with roasted meats, game, mature cheeses, and rich pasta dishes such as tagliatelle with ragù or mushroom risotto.

We offer free next-day delivery on all UK Mainland orders over £150. For orders under £150, a delivery fee of £10 applies. We also deliver to Northern Ireland, the Highlands, Scottish Isles, and the Scilly Isles for £12, and to the Isle of Man for £20. Orders are dispatched Wednesday to Friday, with cheese orders specifically dispatched on Wednesday and Thursday.
Yes, we offer a Click & Collect service. Orders will be ready for collection one hour after placing the order. You can collect from our shop in Bromley Cross, Bolton, Wednesday to Sunday during our opening hours (Turton Wines).
You can return items within 30 days of purchase if they are unused and in the same condition as received, including original packaging. However, certain items like perishable goods and gift cards are non-returnable. Refunds will be processed once the returned item is inspected and approved.
