Rugrà Scajeta Monferrato Rosso DOC 2017 is a premium red wine from the rolling hills of Monferrato in Piedmont. Produced by Rugrà, it combines the vibrant acidity of Barbera with the structure of Cabernet Sauvignon and the softness of Merlot, resulting in a refined and harmonious blend. Deep ruby-red in colour with garnet reflections, the wine opens with aromas of ripe blackberries, cherries and plums, followed by elegant notes of vanilla, tobacco, cocoa and sweet spices. The palate is full-bodied and well-balanced, featuring silky tannins, concentrated dark fruit and a long, complex finish that reflects the maturity of the 2017 vintage.

Production Notes
The grapes are hand-harvested from selected vineyards in Monferrato and vinified separately under controlled temperatures. Following fermentation, the wine is matured in French oak barrels for several months before bottle ageing, allowing the blend to develop complexity, structure and elegance while preserving its fruit character.
Tasting Notes
Expressive aromas of blackberry, black cherry, plum and violet are complemented by hints of vanilla, cedar, tobacco, dark chocolate and sweet spice. The palate is rich and velvety with polished tannins, balanced acidity and flavours of ripe dark fruits, liquorice and subtle oak, finishing long and persistent.

We offer free next-day delivery on all UK Mainland orders over £150. For orders under £150, a delivery fee of £10 applies. We also deliver to Northern Ireland, the Highlands, Scottish Isles, and the Scilly Isles for £12, and to the Isle of Man for £20. Orders are dispatched Wednesday to Friday, with cheese orders specifically dispatched on Wednesday and Thursday.
Yes, we offer a Click & Collect service. Orders will be ready for collection one hour after placing the order. You can collect from our shop in Bromley Cross, Bolton, Wednesday to Sunday during our opening hours (Finchley Wines).
You can return items within 30 days of purchase if they are unused and in the same condition as received, including original packaging. However, certain items like perishable goods and gift cards are non-returnable. Refunds will be processed once the returned item is inspected and approved.
