Martin Miller’s 9 Moons Individual Cask Bottling Barrel Aged Gin
£54.99
Martin Miller’s 9 Moons Individual Cask Bottling is a limited-edition barrel-aged gin developed from the classic Martin Miller’s Gin. This original release was created after experiments with different types of oak showed that nine months of maturation gave the desired balance between the underlying gin and wood influence. High-strength Martin Miller’s Gin was placed in a single new American oak cask and matured for nine months, or “nine moons,” in Borgarnes, Iceland, where the cold, dry climate slowed maturation and allowed the spirit to develop gradually. Approximately 2,000 individually numbered bottles were produced from the original cask and reduced to bottling strength with Icelandic spring water. The result retains Martin Miller’s distinctive juniper-and-citrus character while introducing extra richness, creaminess, vanilla sweetness and gentle oak complexity.

Production Notes
The underlying gin is pot-distilled in England, with citrus botanicals distilled separately from the more earthy botanicals to preserve clarity and balance. For this Individual Cask release, high-strength gin was matured for nine months in a single new American oak cask in Borgarnes, Iceland, then brought down to 40% ABV using pure Icelandic spring water. Around 2,000 individually numbered bottles were drawn from the original cask.
Tasting Notes
Juniper and bright lemon-citrus aromas are complemented by vanilla and gentle oak. The palate is smooth and creamy with citrus, juniper, subtle sweetness and warming spice, while cassia, liquorice and light toasted oak develop through a long, warm finish.
Food Pairings
Its creamy texture, vanilla sweetness and oak character work particularly well with roast duck, quail or other game birds, especially dishes incorporating mild sweet spices or vanilla; it can also accompany caramel-based desserts.

The History of Finchley Wines
Finchley Wine — A Neighbourhood Wine Venture with Heart
Born from the passion of two wine enthusiasts, Finchley Wine is more than just a bottle shop. It is the result of five years of dreaming, planning, and sourcing with purpose. Our founders left their careers to create something that would bring people together, support sustainability, and celebrate the beauty of honest winemaking.
Every detail of Finchley Wine reflects that vision. The space is thoughtfully designed with an organic, natural aesthetic and shelves filled with handpicked bottles from producers who care for their land as much as their craft. We call it wine design, a blend of taste, community, and creativity that turns every visit into an experience.
At Finchley Wine, you will find not only distinctive wines but also a welcoming space built on connection, sustainability, and local spirit.
