Louis Jadot Bourgogne Pinot Noir Couvent des Jacobins is one of the house’s most recognisable regional wines, offering an approachable introduction to Burgundy reds.
The cuvée is named after the 12th-century Jacobin monastery in Beaune, which houses the Jadot cellars.
It is sourced from fruit across the Côte d’Or, Côte Chalonnaise, and trusted partner growers, blended to create a supple, fruit-driven wine that captures authentic Burgundian character while remaining accessible and versatile.

Production Notes
Grapes are destemmed and fermented in open vats. Aged 9–12 months in French oak barrels (20–30% new). A blend of estate-grown fruit and select growers ensures consistency and typicity across vintages.
Tasting Notes
Brilliant ruby red. Aromas of redcurrant, cherry, raspberry, and violets with subtle spice and earthiness. The palate is smooth, medium-bodied, and elegant, with bright red fruit, gentle tannins, and a well-balanced finish.

We offer free next-day delivery on all UK Mainland orders over £150. For orders under £150, a delivery fee of £10 applies. We also deliver to Northern Ireland, the Highlands, Scottish Isles, and the Scilly Isles for £12, and to the Isle of Man for £20. Orders are dispatched Wednesday to Friday, with cheese orders specifically dispatched on Wednesday and Thursday.
Yes, we offer a Click & Collect service. Orders will be ready for collection one hour after placing the order. You can collect from our shop in Bromley Cross, Bolton, Wednesday to Sunday during our opening hours (Finchley Wines).
You can return items within 30 days of purchase if they are unused and in the same condition as received, including original packaging. However, certain items like perishable goods and gift cards are non-returnable. Refunds will be processed once the returned item is inspected and approved.
