KEO St. George Commandaria is a legendary fortified dessert wine produced in Cyprus, recognised as one of the world's oldest named wines with a history spanning over 800 years. Crafted from sun-dried Xynisteri and Mavro grapes grown in the Commandaria PDO villages, this rich amber-coloured wine is naturally sweet and exceptionally complex. The bouquet reveals aromas of raisins, dried figs, dates, caramel and honey, complemented by notes of toasted nuts, coffee and warm spices. The palate is velvety and full-bodied, balancing luscious sweetness with fresh acidity, culminating in a long, elegant finish. It is a classic after-dinner wine with excellent ageing potential.

Production Notes
Produced exclusively within the Commandaria Protected Designation of Origin using traditional methods. Fully ripe Xynisteri and Mavro grapes are harvested and naturally sun-dried for several days to concentrate their sugars before fermentation. The wine is then fortified and matured in large oak casks for an extended period, allowing it to develop its distinctive richness, complexity and smooth character.
Tasting Notes
Deep amber in colour with expressive aromas of raisins, dried apricots, figs, honey and caramel, followed by hints of walnuts, cinnamon and coffee. The palate is rich and silky with flavours of dried fruits, toffee, dates and sweet spice, finishing long, smooth and beautifully balanced.
Food Pairings
Perfect with blue cheeses, mature hard cheeses, fruit cake, sticky toffee pudding, baklava, crème brûlée, dark chocolate desserts, roasted nuts and dried fruits. It is also excellent served slightly chilled as a contemplative after-dinner wine.

We offer free next-day delivery on all UK Mainland orders over £150. For orders under £150, a delivery fee of £10 applies. We also deliver to Northern Ireland, the Highlands, Scottish Isles, and the Scilly Isles for £12, and to the Isle of Man for £20. Orders are dispatched Wednesday to Friday, with cheese orders specifically dispatched on Wednesday and Thursday.
Yes, we offer a Click & Collect service. Orders will be ready for collection one hour after placing the order. You can collect from our shop in Bromley Cross, Bolton, Wednesday to Sunday during our opening hours (Finchley Wines).
You can return items within 30 days of purchase if they are unused and in the same condition as received, including original packaging. However, certain items like perishable goods and gift cards are non-returnable. Refunds will be processed once the returned item is inspected and approved.
