Caparzo Rosso di Montalcino DOC 2024 is a vibrant and elegant Tuscan red wine crafted entirely from Sangiovese grapes grown around the prestigious hills of Montalcino. Produced by one of the region's most respected wineries, this wine captures the freshness and purity of young Sangiovese while retaining the depth and character for which Montalcino is famous. It displays a brilliant ruby-red colour with expressive aromas of ripe cherries, wild berries, violets and delicate Mediterranean herbs. The palate is medium to full-bodied with silky tannins, lively acidity and layers of red berry fruit, subtle spice and earthy minerality, leading to a long, balanced and refreshing finish.

Production Notes
The grapes are hand-harvested from vineyards surrounding Montalcino and undergo temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks with gentle skin maceration. The wine is then matured for several months in a combination of Slavonian oak casks and French oak barrels before further bottle ageing, allowing it to retain its fresh fruit character while developing additional complexity.

Bright ruby red in colour, this wine offers aromas of ripe cherry, raspberry, violet and sweet spice. The palate is smooth and elegant with flavours of red berries, plum, hints of liquorice, tobacco and gentle oak, supported by refined tannins and a fresh, persistent finish.

We offer free next-day delivery on all UK Mainland orders over £150. For orders under £150, a delivery fee of £10 applies. We also deliver to Northern Ireland, the Highlands, Scottish Isles, and the Scilly Isles for £12, and to the Isle of Man for £20. Orders are dispatched Wednesday to Friday, with cheese orders specifically dispatched on Wednesday and Thursday.
Yes, we offer a Click & Collect service. Orders will be ready for collection one hour after placing the order. You can collect from our shop in Bromley Cross, Bolton, Wednesday to Sunday during our opening hours (Finchley Wines).
You can return items within 30 days of purchase if they are unused and in the same condition as received, including original packaging. However, certain items like perishable goods and gift cards are non-returnable. Refunds will be processed once the returned item is inspected and approved.
